My natural beeswax candles are hand poured by yours truly! They are made from 100% beeswax sourced from North Canterbury, by bee friendly bee keepers. They smell amazing, and add a touch of warmth and ambience to any room.
I dip the natural hemp wick in Hawkes Bay olive oil, before hand stringing the wick through the mold with tweezers, and tying off one end. I know, sounds pretty labor intensive doesn’t it? It is, but the results are pretty nice I think, and I hope you do too!
Some say that because beeswax is denser than soy wax, beeswax candles last longer. See each candle type for burn times, but the winner for weight to burn time has to be the pine cone. It amazed me by burning for over 800 minutes, or 13.5 hours!
