My Classes are now held at CWEA, 59 Gloucester St, Central Christchurch.
Welcome to my class gallery. Like the people pictured here, you can benefit from my 10+ years of making skincare and cosmetics with a focus on using natural, local ingredients. My Proper Lipstick, Mineral Foundation and Kawa kawa, Comfrey and Calendula moisturising cream classes, have been very popular in 2024, and in term one this year. A founding philosophy of Mcginns Madefresh is to limit plastic use and for my classes I encourage all participants to bring along a used cosmetic pot from home. This is my second year of running adult classes at the CWEA and I am still learning a lot about the best way to teach, along side my natural hands-on, 'watch-then-do' style of instruction. I am very excited to be hosting natural cosmetic and personal care product classes at CWEA, in Christchurch city centre. Alongside care for the planet, I value education and community, so this alliance feels great. Here’s a little quote from their website.
